Winch
A winch is an electrical device that is used to wind up ropes or cables. Winches can be used to tow cars, boats, gliders, and other types of transportation. Winches have many industrial applications as well, including being used in conjunction with cranes and other heavy machines that are used to move things. Winches can also be useful during stage production to move scenery and other large objects on and off the set. Winches are basically a spool attached to a crank. They can be electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or powered by internal combustion drives.
