Bye Bye Standby® Energy Saving Kit

The Bye Bye Standby® Energy Saving Kit is a simple way to take control of your home while reducing your carbon footprint.

Practical and easy to install Bye Bye Standby® gives you remote control of your appliances either individually or as groups at the touch of a button up to 90ft.

For use with the following electrical devices and many more:

Televisions		Lamps
Printers		Stereos
Video Players		Games Consoles
DVD Players		Phone Chargers

Dial on the Socket Adapter
Select a code from A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, C3, D1, D2 or D3 on the rear of the socket adapter. (You will want the letter (e.g. A, B, C or D) to be the same on the socket adapter and the remote control.

Dial on the Remote Control
Select a letter from A, B, C or D to match that selected on the socket adapter you wish to control. If the remote is set to "A" then button "1" on the front of the remote will control socket adapters set to code "A1".

Individual Socket Control...

(1) Set the dial on the reverse of the socket adapter to your chosen number e.g. A1, A2, A3, B1 and so on.

(2) Plug your existing power strip or the device you wish to control then...

(3) Use the remote control to switch on and off with the correspondinh button on the remote.

It is important that the remote control is set to the correspondig letter (A, B, C or D) in order to control your devices.

Multiple Socket Control...

You can either use the Socket to control a powerstrip

You can also set more than one socket to the same code (e.g.A1) therefore allowing you to control more then one electrical device with the same button.

Troubleshooting:

If the units do not work........

(1) Test the battery in the remote control by pressing any On or Off button. The red LED light on the front top of the Remote will turn on.
If this does not occur, then the Lithium Battery needs to be replaced.
2. Remote Control has a 90 ft radio frequency reach to control the Smart Socket Adapters.
3. Check the selected codes on the back of the Socket Adapters are lined up with the letter selector (A,B, C, D) on the back of the Remote.
4. Socket Adapters must be installed 4 feet apart
